This form of art uses blots of mediums - ink, acrylic, watercolor, or mixed that are dropped onto paper or canvas.
The artist then blows the medium across the surface from every angle to create an interesting design, or folds the surface in half to create a mirror image, or lays another surface atop the mediumed surface to create a second image in lighter tones.
Creating amorphous blobs are fun and very therapeutic. It bypasses conscious control and allows the brain to enter a relaxed, meditative state reducing anxiety.
