Line art is a broad artistic style creating images exclusively with lines.  There are two styles:  One-line Draws and Multiple-line Draws.

The one-line draw is a highly restrictive style where an entire image is drawn using a single, continuous, unbroken line. This is a minimalist, abstract subset of line art where the drawing tool never lifts off the paper.

When multiple disconnected lines are used, it is considered a line drawing that emphasizes outer shapes, boundaries, and contours.

Both techniques create images against a solid background without shading or color.
